Brain Err

A troubled finesse.
Smothered speech, for the rule of no crying out.
Found bearing the weight upon death of a sloppy tongue, falling and failing from its original niche
Leaking here and there, slowly turning back the clock.
Or at least trying to turn back the clock, trying harder and harder and...

explode.

Bombarded with a new passion; a new passion, a new flaw.
Bronze horizon-line; you've slowly smelted this lone-ranger into millions of others.
Just sit there and watch; the eyes of the world won't spare as I convulse right in front of you.
Puppet strings from the tattered hands on your tattered wings.
Spring beautifully up into the sky, leaving me in a knot at the bottom.
Level upon level upon level of bringing myself down.
Never has the feelings of necessity and hunger and starvation felt so strong in the belly of my heart.
Crawling from the ashes of talking to you.
Only to get hit back down into the smoldering buckets of everything I am.
Then bombarded again and again with the same old trick, but some new spin.
Drinking from the fountain of life; the sewer only runs so far before it comes back in a full circle.
Don't take for granted the feather in your hand.
If you're not a pair of wings, the legs won't move.
Compare myself to the crowns of the commoners;
Common knowledge says hierarchy is the only way to break off my fetishes.
But in the same instance, I love you; the universe for which you shine with a power more than that of the suns and her many children.
If only your same radiance would fall on me, if only if my moon-lit, downcast face were worthy of the essence of beauty of which you radiate.
