Bed Time Prayer

Now I lay me down to sleep.
I confess my sins
Before I leap.

Now I lay me on my deathbed,
I'll think of you,
and all that you said.

You promised me love,
You promised me life.
You promised me forever,
and one day i'd be your wife.

But now I'm all alone,
as I sit here and wonder why.
Why I trusted you,
And why you made me cry.

Now you'll never know,
Just how much I loved you.
Just how much I cared.
Because this is something I must do.
