A White Rose Stained Red
A white rose stained red,
Like the million words you said.
All the hurt that made me hide,
The sadness that made me want to cry.
Afraid of never coming back,
With are heart loose and lack.
Everything that will fall away,
With nothing I can say.
My heart is stained by a thorn,
Your heart was never really even born.
Oh how I wish you knew,
Why my blood turned so blue.
Hidden in the sighs,
Just like all the lies,
That you told me you would never say.
Made my life turn gray.
Remembering the day,
When you said you’d never run away.
How I was a fool,
To believe someone like you
