09 - Prelude To Madness

The light I'm searching for
Is like a blurry sentence
On my hand I wrote it down
A reminder or just evidence
Of a life I had once
The life I lived
It's nothing but a memory
But darkness finds me and like ink
It spreads and drowns my sanity

The light they're searching for
A beacon in the night
Will tell them where I am
Will guide them to my side
And while tears well up
And blur my sight
The light within my eyes
Will give away my presence
Will shatter my disguise

Must dim the light
The light that is my life
Must close my eyes
And hope to die
I'm leaving for the Otherside

This one has actually been turned into a song by a friend of mine who is an amazing singer. I just don't know how to put the mp3 on the internet so people could hear it. If anyone can help with that, it would be great. If it's impossible, well, just words it is!
