Evanescence - Just a random poem I wrote, wanting to experiment with alliteration and internal rhyming.
The Depressed Poet's Sonnet - I was asked by my friend's younger sister to write a sonnet, which was new to me, I didn't know how they were structured, and when she told me, I really got into it and this is what I got.
Before He Dies (Song) - ...
Dance Floor Tragedy (Song) - A techno metal song in 6/8 time with a very prominent keyboard part. It's about a girl dying at a disco. I was originally gonna entitle it "Panic at the Disco", but I thought that might upset some people.
The Bag (Song) - This is a 'poetic metal' song as Nelson and I call it - a new genre, hehe. It's a song, but the entire lyrics are just a recited poem. We may use it as like an introduction track. Hope you like it.
To Be With You (Song) - About wanting to be with a lost love.
SLIPpery SLOPes of secondary school ???? (Dada poem) - We're studying the Dada art movement in my visual arts class right now and we were told to write a poem in the style of a Dadist. Tell me what you think. :)
Heaven's Not Heaven without You (Song) - A progressive metal ballad.
Modified Madness (Song) - I wanted to make a song that had the same title as our band's name, so I came up with this.
Ted and Acoustic Emma (Song) - A blues song about the best night of my life.
