To make a long story short, a girl in my school had cancer and she survived for a while but recently she hadn't been doing very well. She had needed to be in the hospital for a long time and they were helping her the best they could. The morning of March 21 (2007), she died. Our school had been so sad because she was so kind to everyone and now her parents don't have enough money to pay of all the hospital bills. They are starting a fund so that people will donate money to pay off the hospital bills. Everyone in our school is having such a tough time and cancer is such a horrible thing. I just wanted to say this and if anyone wants to share an experience of a loved one that died or was diagnosed with cancer, post it if
you'd like. I know it's a personal thing so you don't have to. I just want to tell of this sad news and what an impact cancer has on everyone's lives.

In loving memory of Mariah Burda.

Same thing happened when I was in high school. Out of nowhere this girl was diagnosed with brain cancer. They found it early so they said she would have a small chance of living, and her parents brought her to the best doctor they could find. After over a year and a half, she got worse and died. Everyone was shocked and couldn't believe it could happen. Just a few months before she went to Prom and was dancing, we just couldn't believe it.

She was a friend to just about everyone, and even if you didn't know her, she was kind to you.

As time goes by, it'll get easier for everyone. We will never forget those we lose, but the pain soon fades (although never completely) and we move on.

I hope her family can raise the money, hopefully a company will come out and pay some of it.

my partner died of cancer a short while back. it pains me to think of the times together and the times apart. i know my love is above me watching me protecting me. only i wish he was hear to Wipe my tears away.

i never knew it could be so painfull and i really thought that because we had found out before hand that it would be easier to deal with, only i was wrong. it hurt so much. i dont know how to tell ppl and i dont really know how to make ppl understand that a death doesnt just affect you but it affects 100's on ppl every day, it was the way i found a little comfort. i knew i wasnt alone, but some how i still felt it. you right now reading this know your not alone. not by far and please dont make the mistake of thinking you are, IM HERE .

"i miss you, i miss you so bad, i dont forget you, oh its so sad, i hope you can hear me i remember it clearly, the day you slipped away was the day i found it wont be the same,"
