Hunger Mountain's Manuscript Critique Auction begins May 1st on Ebay. Hunger Mountain is the Vermont College Journal of Arts and Letters.
Join us for our second annual fundraising auction, exclusively featuring manuscript critiques with notable authors. One-on-one critiques in poetry, fiction, creative nonfiction and writing for children will be conducted by phone, email and mail. This is a great way to study with a writer you admire and support non-profit literary publishing!
Visit hungermtn dot org for a list of participating authors, including Carolyn Coman, Thomas Christopher Greene, Louise Hawes, Major Jackson, David Jauss, Thomas Kennedy, Pamela Painter, Victoria Redel, David St. John, Jean Valentine, Bruce Weigl, W. D. Wetherell and many more. PLUS A SPECIAL OFFERING - a full-length novel critique with Bret Lott - a rare opportunity to work with an Oprah Book Club novelist!
Beginning May 1st, to view Hunger Mountain's Fundraising Auction items, use Ebay's search tool to find "Hunger Mountain" and you'll get a list of the available manuscript critiques, each with detailed descriptions of the author and terms of the critique.
All purchases are charitable and support Hunger Mountain's non-profit mission to bring readers outstanding creative work by both established and emerging writers and artists, as chosen by guest editors from the Vermont College MFA in Writing Program faculty. |
