my inspirations come from a few things...from relationships, from hardtimes, and struggles, etc etc... i always have to have the right mindset though, and always be in the 'mood' to write..i cant just up and write on cue, unless i can bring myself into that 'mood' to do that...

Kind of the same way with me. If I am in the mood to write, I may write several in a day and then just lose the feeling and pick it back up again a few months later. It all just depends.

Lately though, it has been a lot tougher for me. I can't seem to find the right words to express myself.

i like looking at old photographs and recalling all the memories from that time. I like going for a walk and then writing about everything i felt, or just noting down if i have a thought or question to ponder in the day. I'm not one of those people who only write about sad things. i like writing about happy things too!

For me, I find it's always to do with the way you're feeling. If you're feeling slightly down or depressed, or if you're feeling particularly happy, that's when you're at your most creative. It seems to be the way that most ideas can be expressed freely, and I seem to think of better metaphors.

i dont usualy write poetry, i recently started but i find that i write it because i feel no-one cares how i feel and writing it down helps me deal with it but it always seems to be depressing i definitely agree its to do with the mood you're in
