Here is my first post in this section. I am eager to here responses to these words, maybe even a guess as to what situation I am outlining
In a time of questions with an unknown future
I feel uncertain at best and I fear for the worst
Strangely skeptical of my own judgement
I am full of self discernment
These feelings stall my energy, a bottleneck of the will
Yet these times require the most perseverance, utter conviction
Too easy it is to fall victim to time's dreary pace
A short day holds no potential for betterment, let alone growth
My well worn paths to consolation now contain thorns and pitfalls
The irony of a familiar face, the bitterness of situational regret
It is from the confines of this regressing existence that I find motivation from afar
An interest, a passion, a curiosity, and a sense of adventure brings forth dreams of a distant place
I am seperated from this solace by time and other worldly restraints
Yet I am welcomed there by a most beautiful, and elegant woman
I sit looking out my window at the scenery that has stared back at me since infancy
The distance is immense, the obstacles to overcome numerous and perhaps impossible
But there is hope in knowing we look upon the same sun and moon
The stars reflect our smiles and the night wind carries our thoughts
The gifts of today's world allow for the sharing of my musical thoughts
While these are imperfect, too simple and all together not a full representation of how I feel
