Hasten to the edge of stained
facades of faded buildings casting
shadow and neon
light;
No Titan stands before this desolation.
Forward comes the edge of
night to cut and scrape the din of endless
droning city, call and hasten to the blind king
the moan and beckon;
Billboard-sign-advertisement-empty-promise
Godless Gods
Godless in a Godless world; stone edifice of manless machines ;
monument to manless man;
No Titan stands before it.
Metal upon metal grinds to the
inexhaustible cruelty of
anything that was born before the
first dawn of the
Sun
on face of new made man; and the moan and beckon
laughs; city of the soulless dead;
No Titan stands before it.
Grinning deaths head of crazed futility
flailing at the nothing space that represents
our souls within
a coffin cage, caged coffin; our living tombstone stands
full of radiant Lucifer, beholder of the moan and beckon
beholder of the graves of our now faceless selves
beholder of the nothing; City of senseless sense;
No Titan stands before it.
Misbegotten worshipper of filth, lighting up its tombstone mocking
writhing naked agony
Calling to the moan and beckon!
Praying to the moan and beckon!
Godless of the moan and beckon!
Slaughtered to the moan and beckon!
Soulless of the moan and beckon!
City of the dead!
Necropolis and monument
to the anguish of the moan and beckon!
