Writer's Block Killer - Exercise #1
First off, I would like to explain what these exercises are. Of course, the title should be self explanatory, but for reasons of the unknown, I shall continue.
These exercises are for those of us who constantly get the horrid writer's block. This "disease" is one of the worst of it's kind. For those of us who love to write, it can cause long days, weeks or even months without a drop of ink.
The purpose of these exercises are to reverse the illness and rid of the treachery.
So, let us continue onward with our first exercise:- Choose a family member which you were very close to as a child.
- Choose an exotic island (preferably a place which speaks a language you don't, or a fantasy land is just as good) you have always wished to visit.
- Write about what you would do if your loved one was stuck on the island and you were still at home. Remember, you are just a little child!
As a young [boy], I was very close to my [grandfather]. We hung out together, played ball, rode horses, everything I could have ever imagined. Everything was great until the day he suddenly disappeared. Not knowing where he went or even where he could have gone, I was not discouraged.
