Romantic Cheap Vacation Ideas

A romantic vacation is a must amongst long term relationships. However, they may not be all that they seem; for a vacation to be romantic it doesn't always have to be at the most expensive and luxurious place.

Most females agree that romance is not just about a beach with palm trees, it's about spending time together, catering to each other and lots of flirting.

Hotel to get away

The best way to go about a romantic vacation may be to look at some exotic islands. However, if the money isn't available, find a nice hotel and take your loved one to it and spend a night together; alone with no distractions (which includes no TV or children). This way, you'll save money from travel yet still be away from all your worries.

The next step is to set the mood for the night. The best way to do this is dim the lights or have lit candles around the room. A massage or two may also be in order. Most hotels offer these, but generally there's a cheaper spa next door.

Men, be sure to talk a lot. It doesn't have to be anything in particular, just keep your tone down and be sure not to get edgy or far away from the task at hand. Remember: this is a vacation! Have fun. Joke together and laugh together. Laughter is an amazing aphrodisiac.

Now, if you do have the money and are able to afford that condo by the beach, be sure to take a midnight stroll. There is nothing like a beach at night with no one around. It is truly amazing. If possible, stay on the beach all night. Sleep under the stars or better yet, keep yourselves busy until sunrise and watch the beauty of the sun hit the open water.

Camping! It's more fun than it sounds.

Take a short camping trip, build a fire, and sleep in a tent. It's cheap, easy, and it helps you get away from your problems. Just be sure to follow the directions and find a safe place to camp at. Nowadays parks have cabins, but you should still be able to find a nice tent camping ground with not too many people.

Public beaches are free and everywhere

This one is probably more of a "if you live close to the ocean or sea." But seriously, you don't need to go to a private beach to have fun. Go to the public beach and wade your way through all the people. Better yet, go early and find a nice spot before all the other tourists come.

If these ideas don't fill your fancy, talk to your partner. They will input their ideas on what to do. If you don't agree on any of the ideas, suck it up; it's for your relationship! Make your partner happy just this one night or week. You will be thankful you did, at least in the bedroom.
